When is my rent due?
Your rent is ALWAYS due on the first day of the month. Your rent is late as of midnight on the first, but we give you a grace period until the 5th.
What forms of payment do you accept?
You can submit rent payments using a credit card , debit card , bank info via Buildium only. We do not accept personal checks or cash.
How do I request maintenance?
To submit a maintenance request please use your online resident portal for fastest response. You can also call 734-627-7099 ext. 2 or send an email to maintenance@amkproperties.com.
What happens when my lease is up?
You are required to give us 60 days’ notice to Vacate. Our office will contact you 61-90 days before your lease expiration and will send you Renewal Offer if applicable.
What are your requirements for application?
Our minimum requirements are:
Must be over 18 years old.
At least one applicant must have 620 or higher credit score.
Monthly earnings must be higher than 3 times rent.
We will review rental history, income, employment, criminal and eviction history, credit score and debt to income ratio, and payment history.
No evictions in the past 7 years.
We DO NOT lease first come, first serve. Often, we have multiple applicants, and we approve the MOST QUALIFIED group based on the criteria above.
Do you allow Pets?
Most of our properties will allow up to two pets, but some do not allow pets at all. It will be noted on the property description whether or not pets are allowed. There is a nonrefundable pet fee that is specific to each property.
